Closing the water loop
Rent-O-ReWa believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world.
Who We Are
Here at Rent-O-ReWa, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2019, we have been determined to make an impact and bring the change for new future. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
Water is an essential resource. Heavy dependence on freshwater for non-consumptive use is adding to the looming water crisis in India. In India, more than 80% of the treated wastewater remains underutilised due to nonacceptance for recycled water, lack of market linkages and weak supply chain, awareness about the possibility to buy recycled water for non-consumptive use. The wastewater sector is highly unorganised and unregulated that leads to an unscientific discharge of water into natural water bodies from defunct sewage treatment plants.
At Rent-o-ReWa, we optimise wastewater disposal and reduce pressure on freshwater intake. The solution intends to close water loop by promoting circular economy and organizes an existing informal market.
Creating a Marketplace
Mapping the Recycled Water Market
A user-friendly B2B space for trading between recyclable water users with geo-spatial map of demand and supply of recycled water, visually relatable analyses of production and consumption, user trends analysis, grading recycled water to standardize water control and making wastewater quality data accessible to consumers, strengthening the supply chain of recycled water market.
Monitoring and Quality Assurance
Reinforcing our Commitment
Our aim is to bring transparency in process and ensure public health is protected continually. Monitoring, attenuation, retention, and quality assurance—are typically embedded into the design of recycled water quality.
Enhancing towards a sustainable community
Learning and Engaging with Community
We promote opportunities for water conservation and utilization of recycled water. With access to the right knowledge, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to save environment.
